Business Analysis/Reengineering Consultant/Expert #178 - Compensation: $40-$44hr in Southfield, Louisiana

Responsibilities include understanding all aspects of the business solution in scope. This includes managing the deliverables, daily interaction with global business customers, an understanding of the various interfacing systems and close relationship with their IT and Business representatives. The individual will need to have an understanding of classic and RUP methodologies and be responsible for their phases and artifacts. They will coordinate direct interaction with the business customers and also provide estimating for work effort as well as cycle planning for future years. To be successful in this role will require the person to have: Technical skills; Strong BA skills; Some PM skills.
Skills Required: 
Critical Skills/Experiences: . Proven ability in working with geographically dispersed business partners in a complex business environment. . Hands on experience in capturing customer requirements and translating into technical specifications and system functionality. . Working knowledge and experience in RUP Methodology. Experience in Agile practices a plus. . Hands-on experience with global, large applications and dealing with customers directly . Strong IT BA background with proven ability to deliver on large complex projects that are highly interfaced . Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate many matrixed shared services and a wide range of global business and IT partners . Performs at an extremely high level of technical competence and maturity . Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business team members on a global level . Ability to negotiate solutions and drive consensus . Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills . High organizational, planning and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, complex and global environment . Experiences in rationalizing regional concerns into common global solutions . Must have experience in working in onsite-offshore delivery model . Ability to lead by managing issues, risks, scope, plans, estimates and schedules, performance reporting across a complicated set of customers . Participate in Business Case Development Technical Qualifications: . 3+ years. experience as a senior business analyst . 5+ years. experience with large scale global applications . 5+ years. experience in an IT role with a global application . 5+ years. experience with multiple programming languages . Excellent Communication Skills and ability to utilize desktop tools to accelerate communications (IM, WebEx, etc.)
